The World of Sedna
Of mystique, of sea animals, of flying shamans and drum songs - Eli Nasogaluak
The Inuit Sea Goddess who formerly lived with man, was an outcast cast away into the sea by her jealous husband, became a sea creature ruling the coming and goings of all the sea animals. Man, who was once the dominant ruler now becomes dependent on Sedna for her animals. They sent forth shamans to appease her by combing her hair and singing drum songs in order for her to release the sea animals that they desperately depend on for their survival.
